How to access online resources with Kindle edition

Online resources for the Kindle edition are a bit difficult to get access to -- here's how to do it.
1) Go to http://ebooks.elsevier.com/
2) Select a language
3) Say you purchased an eBook
4) Say you purchased from Amazon
5) Fill in your Amazon order number
6) Provide the book's ISBN
7) Give your name and email address.
Elsevier will email you with instructions on how to access the resources.
You will be able to answer questions interactively, take them in a test environment, and access the video vignettes.

The Exam Has Changed; This Book Has Not Kept Up

Other than the fact that about 10% of the questions were reworded to refer to DSM-5 terminology (e.g. Illness Anxiety Disorder instead of Hypochondriasis) this is largely the SAME MATERIAL as the 2nd edition (which contains a LOT of material from the first edition), except for about four entirely new questions for each of the six 150-question tests. Assuming you already own the 2nd edition, the price of the book is a high cost to pay for only about 30 new questions, out of 1000 total.
The book is fine, but the exam's content has changed SIGNIFICANTLY while this book's material has scarcely changed since the first edition. You will get burned badly if you rely solely on any edition of this book because the exam has changed.

For MOC, a winner but see what I say in retrospect...

For MOC, it worked great, and in fact I was over-prepared. I initially was taking notes on thing, generally all the neurology, and genetic disorders, and there was so little of either on the MOC. Toward the end I was just scanning through the answers primarily to questions that I answered wrong on. In retrospect, I would have spent each evening taking 1 of the 6 different 150 question exams, circled questions upon which I had to guess, and then gone back and reviewed the answer information only for questions I answered wrong or had to guess. That would have left me plenty of time to rack out 1 test each evening. And again, I would not have gotten real deep into the neuro and genetics subjects- just scanned through them at most. I did not even touch the vignettes at the back of the book so can't comment on how useful them may have been, but MOC did not really have a vignette with several questions tied to it, which is presumably the format that replaced the oral component (I did the oral).
