Exciting Resource, a Must Read!

Deeper Learning with QR Codes and Augmented Reality is a helpful resource for all teachers. Monica lays out a simple framework to follow in her book, describing why QR and AR are important in education today and how to integrate these engaging technologies into your classroom through all subject areas. The Tips, Takeaway, and Spotlight sections are particularly helpful in highlighting the important aspects of the book. Monica goes even further using a plethora of examples and pictures that excite you to see how others are using QR and AR in their classroom. If you are a teacher who wants to begin implementing QR and AR in your classroom, I highly recommend this book!

So, I bought this book to learn more about effectively using scannable technology in my school. As a Media Specialist, I am often the tech leader in my building and as we move toward a blended learning approach, I want to find things that my teachers can use fairly easily. Scannable tech--QR Codes and Augmented Reality will help accomplish so much with this endeavor. I think that the ideas in this book are presented in such a way that even a technophobic teacher would be willing to give them a try. Give this book a read--you'll be sure to get new ideas!
